The qualities of the BEC’s that led to there success are the good management and interpersonal skills that they have.. BEcause of that they became successfull in there chosen field.They got the people's sympathy.

2. Is the Is organization at BEC poised to undertake significant system development in the near future?
Yes, because as the BEC company grew the more need of computer-based information system for broadways. They to have their own information staff so they will not hire anymore for other contractor.

3. What specific management skills do system analyst at BEC need?
For me the basic skill that the System analyst need at BEC is project management approach.

4. What specific communication skills do system analyst at BEC need?
The specific communication skills that BEC need is the Interpersonal skills the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to others or a good working relationship with he clients.

5. Do you see any IS roles missing at BEC?
Yes although the company is almost perfect but because of there greater demand and fast change of technology they are lacking of IS Professionals, Basically IS managers and programmers.

6. Why did BEC decided to originally use an outside contractor?
The BEC decided to use an outside contractor to develop its first computer applications because BEC had nobody trained in information systems on staff and all BEC managers were quite busy coping with the business expansion. Nigel and Bill realized that computer software could be quite complicated and building systems for a rapidly changing organization could be quite a challenge. So they contacted the information consulting firm of Fitzgerald McNally, Inc. about designing and building a custom computer-based information systen for broadways.

7.What has BEC done to facilitate the global utilization of their application systems?
BEC used different application systems in their company to provide the costumers a better and more convenient services. And also for the company to in touched with their other branches world wide.

8.Do corporate and in-instore systems seems to be tightly or loosely related at BEC?Why do you think is so?
Yes, because data in many corporate systems of BEC feed or are fed by in-store applications.(e.g. market analysis systems depend on transaction data collected by the in-store systems).

9. What challenges and limitations will affect what and how systems are develop in the future at BEC?
The challenges that affect BEC is that as the years go on they need to reate or use the modern technologies in their company so their information system will be competitive with the other company. In limitation they need to expand their applications.
